  1. Our school embarked on a STEAM journey about insects. The junior students researched about insects – features, habitats and importance in the environment. They then had to make an insect and it’s habitat. The year 34s learning intention was to design an insect that could move in its habitat and the senior class had to use electrical circuits to design an insect that incorporated a light bulb! The results were amazing with a variety of construction materials used – shoeboxes to plasticine. Students then described their end result using video.
